“…one employee at a company I’ve worked with (one who was well enough established to not have to worry about being fired) routinely skipped the weekly meeting other people attended and would simply ask them what he had missed. Thus he condensed a two-hour meeting into ten minutes and invested the rest of that redeemed time getting important work done” (p. 161). BOOK HERE: https://amzn.to/2OhETtz
Can you imagine how much more productive this employee must be simply because he doesn’t have to sit in a two-hour meeting that could be condensed to 10 minutes? Luckily he’s well established enough to not be fired for being more productive than the others. But consider this: What if the entire meeting was condensed to 10 minutes for everyone?
Then everyone would have an hour and fifty minutes to be productive and do things that make money for the company. Read this book….Then give it to your manager!
