Book Review of Deep Work

I listened to the audiobook of Deep Work, by Cal Newport. Here’s the synopsis from his blog:

The Deep Work Hypothesis: The ability to concentrate without distraction on a demanding task (what I call “deep work”) is becoming more rare at the same time that it’s becoming more valuable in the knowledge sector. As a result, those individuals and organizations who put in the hard work to cultivate this skill will thrive.”

I learned that I do too much, get distracted constantly, and that I need to correct this if I’m going to accomplish something great.

The audiobook is an easy listen. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. Very applicable. Buy it here:
